Flying business: USTDA team to visit Pakistan

Officials of the United States Trade Development Agency (USTDA) will visit Pakistan soon for potential cooperation in the field of aviation and business.


This was stated by US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson during his meeting with Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Aviation Shujaat Azeem at the Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) office in Islamabad.


According to a press release, the US ambassador expressed his satisfaction over the steps taken towards the revival of PIA and the modernisation of airports in Pakistan.


He offered all possible assistance in making PIA a profitable airline and in the expansion of airports in the country.


Earlier, Azeem briefed the official on the ongoing development projects for PIA and the civil aviation sector.


He thanked Olsen for his interest and cooperation towards the development of the aviation sector in Pakistan.

Probably he does not know how overseas Pakistani are treated at airports even treatment ar some foreign countries is far better.

This need a total revamp of processes and staff attitude and physical infrastructure.
