A petition against Rashid, which claimed that the former chairman was not appointed on merit, was sent to the PM House and there are also allegations regarding his qualifications.
Earlier this year, a three-member committee was set up to oversee the affairs of the state institution wherein the committee agreed to strip the chairman of his powers.
Members of the committee included Pervez Rathore Abbasi, Israr Abbasi and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority Chairperson Ismail Shah.

Nadeem, no problem at all! Its not IHC that will deal it. It will be PMLN that will deal with IHC!
If merit becomes the criteria in Pakistan then 95% of the government officials will have no place to hide.
Its good to see Mr. Mamnoon Hussain doing something. He will have scores of persons to be removed on similar charges including federal secretaries.
Hard nut to crack. Let's see how IHC deals with it........
All institutions are being destroyed and politicized. After 4 more years nothing will be left there to salvage.
