An unofficial of the Levies personnel said unknown militants planted explosives in the pipeline of wells No 12, 15, 21, 23 and 29 in the Pirkoh area of Dera Bugti. The explosive device was detonated via remote control, thereby damaging the pipeline and suspending gas supply from the wells to the Sui plant.
Security forces rushed the scene after the explosion and cordoned off the area.
A Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) official claimed that they have started repairing the damaged pipeline.
Pipelines in Pakistan have come under frequent attacks recently, resulting in disruption in gas supply to many areas in the country.
On April 5, security forces had foiled a bid to blow up a gas pipeline in Rahim Yar Khan and had arrested three suspected members of the banned Balochistan Republican Army (BRA).
A little over a month ago, on March 10, a 16-inch diameter gas pipeline exploded near police picket No. 13 on Super Highway, Jamshoro.
According to the Sui Southern Gas Company in-charge in Jamshoro, Ayaz Lashari, bomb disposal experts had confirmed that a bomb was planted underground.
On February 10, three gas pipelines had exploded near Rahim Yar Khan, cutting supplies to Punjab, an official from the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) had said. Spokesperson for the banned BRA Sarbaz Baloch had said his group had blown up the pipelines near Rahim Yar Khan, about 600 km south of Islamabad.

Pakistan need to install CCTV Cameras everywhere and monitor them 24 hours to catch culprits and Kill them on spot.
I wonder if the honorable courts of ATC has considered to get a board of psychiatrists set up to assess this man. Its not possible that a person who is in sound mental health will ever do that.. please consider this aspect before torturing him physically in the name of physical remand or putting him in the long ordeal of media trial!
Yes, its true.Gas, Oil has always been with the Iranic peoples(Medo Persians/and Balochis of sistan Va Baloochistan), not with the mountain fringe tribes(Scythians-who are the modern day Pakistanis).Therefore, just like Iran has oil and Gas, the Baloch too are blessed by Allah(Subahanuwottallah) with Gas.This is being siphoned off by the Scythians, just like how the central asians stole our Indian land, of what we used to call the Indus(Sapta Sindhu).They are right in defending themselves, their gas is for them, not for Central Asians.
