According to a press release issued on Friday, Khattak acknowledged reports highlighted in the press regarding the transfer of discretionary funds into the minister’s personal account and ordered an immediate enquiry.
After going through the record and statements, enquiry officer Hammad Uwais Agha determined that the case of transfer of funds was processed on file by the sports secretary, DG and DDO which was in violation of over 20 rules.
The enquiry report pointed out the minister had no role in the matter as handling of financial affairs falls within the jurisdiction of the principal accounts officer and his supporting staff.
The enquiry has further pointed out that a BS-17 officer was working as the DG Sports which is a BS-19 post.
The chief minister, on the advice of the chief secretary, issued suspension orders for the sports secretary, DG and DDO with immediate effect to be followed by disciplinary action against them.

@Parvez: no body can be save from punishment for doing wrong. He will be in prison soon as charges are carefully examine at highest level.
This is the change Imran Khan talked about. PTI MPA's are still dumb that they do not understand IK and his principals.
Wait. Are you saying the Minister is not involved??? Illegal DG Sports, money transfer in personal account, and he had no knowledge of it. Wow. Wow. Wow. Just WOW I'm astounded..WOW! Naya Pakistan!
What an upright way to save minister Sahib and making other escape goats.
How come the minister is innocent? It is his account that got beefed up. It is Amin Faheem type case when he claimed that he did not know that his account is stronger by 20 million Rs.
This is a PTI led government, no corruption will be accepted. Well done.
..........Sounds Goooood
