Targeted attack: Man shot dead in Quetta

QUETTA: A man was shot dead by unidentified assailants near the Sadam Phatak area of New Saryab in Quetta on Friday. According to Saryab Police, the victim, identified as Gul Shah, was a resident of Mastung. The attackers fled from the scene after committing the crime. Shah’s body was shifted to Civil Hospital. “He was shot in the chest and head and died instantly,” doctors said. Police have registered the case and started an investigation. However, the motive behind the killing is unknown. Meanwhile, a man Naseebullah son of Salahu, hanged himself to death in Pashtoonabad. His body was shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta.
