Property seized: Cricketer’s property to be auctioned
Banking court orders auctioning of property of Test cricket Ijaz Ahmed, former member of national selection committee.
LAHORE:
A banking court on Friday ordered auctioning of the property of Test cricket Ijaz Ahmed, a former member of the national selection committee. A petition had been filed by Bank Alfalah seeking the auction of Ahmed’s property following a loan default. Ahmed played 60 Test matches and 250 one-day internationals for Pakistan. He was also a member of the team that won the 1992 World Cup. He has also served as a fielding coach for the national team and senior coach at the National Cricket Academy.
