This certificate permits manufacture of solar panels to export to the European markets. “This achievement will open a new window of opportunities for Pakistani quality products to gain wider acceptance in European markets,” said Tesla Industries Chief Executive Officer Aamir Hussain.
“The Pakistan industrial sector, especially solar energy equipments, has great export potential in international markets, including Middle East, Europe and United States, but is unable to tap into them because of quality matters with particular reference to World Trade Organisation (WTO),” said Hussain.
He added that the TUV certificate was a high point as the export of solar panels will benefit the economy and create several employment opportunities as well.
“Pakistan has huge potential in the manufacturing industry, which could be made acceptable for the world markets under WTO rules.”
