Police case: Two booked over anti-state literature

QUETTA: Gwadar police have registered cases against two people after seizing anti-state literature from their shops on Wednesday night. The clauses of the case pertain to treason charges. Police and security forces raided two shops selling CDs and books in Gwadar and seized anti-state literature. “Police found a Balochi language book provoking anti state thoughts written by a Baloch nationalist poet and writer Major (retd) Majeed. The police said some pages there are provoking statements and poetry against army and Country. Some CDs were recovered from the shop in which there are several songs supporting Baloch rebels and their activities. Police in Turbat also arrested two shopkeepers after seizing anti-state literature. The cases were also registered against them.
