LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Thursday sought responses from the Lahore Cantonment Board, the Cantt SP and the Chief Traffic Officer on a petition challenging the construction of a wall on the road leading to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH). Justice Shehzada Mazahar issued the order on a petition filed by Abid Mehmood, a resident of a nearby locality. The petitioner’s counsel said the cantonment board had erected a wall near the CMH. This had made it difficult for those trying to reach the hospital emergency or their houses in the area. The petitioner requested the court to direct the cantonment board to demolish the wall. The court adjourned the hearing till April 14 and sought replies from respondents.
