Development: ‘Govt committed to education’

MPA Hammad Nawaz Tipu says parents also responsible for enrolling their children in school.

MUZAFFARGARH: “Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has earmarked a huge amount of money for education in south Punjab,” MPA Hammad Nawaz Tipu said on Thursday. Addressing a seminar held in connection with the Education Emergency Campaign, he said the landlords had kept the masses away from education for decades. “The provincial government will ensure 100 per cent school enrollment,” he said. MPA Hammad Nawaz Tipu said the parents were also responsible for enrolling their children in the school. He said the country could not progress without education.
