CNG Association to go strike against gas cuts

Vice chairman of association says strike would continue until the government puts an end to gas loadshedding.

LAHORE: The All Pakistan CNG Association on Thursday announced plans of going on a strike for an indefinite period to protest gas loadshedding.

A special meeting was held in Lahore in which members of the association decided to hold country wide protests against gas loadshedding.

Vice Chairman of the association Irfan Ghouri said all CNG stations in Lahore, Multan and Gujranwala will remain closed from November 2-4.

He said the strike would continue for an indefinite period of time if the government does not put an end to gas cuts.
