He said mega projects in education, health, infrastructure and social development had been completed to the benefit of the people. Sharif expressed the hope that the government would live up to the expectations of the people.
Sharif said that development could only be achieved through adherence to merit and having a corruption-free system. He said everybody had a role to play in purging the society of corruption. He said all development projects in the Punjab had been completed in a transparent manner.
The chief minister cited the land record computerisation project as an important step towards eliminating corruption. The project will be completed this year.

@Chachoo Haters gonna hate. Change your negative thinking. This country will be successful the day we stop being ungrateful. The govt has its priorities straight and everything is progressing all together.
Shahbaz Sharif is an Example of One Man Show. Whole Power is concentrated around Sharif Family On the reserve seats for Women all Family friends of Sharif family are appointed as MPAs. Also Lahore seems to be the whole of Punjab for Sharif Family. One ring road Lahore is costing 30 Billion but it is a pity that not a single Cancer Hospital is established in the whole of Punjab in the last 20 years. One Cancer hospital will cost around 2-3 billion Rupees but Chowks and Bridges in Lahore are more important than anything else.
The same 30 Billion on the ring road can develop 2-3 cancer hospitals in South and Central Punjab along with more than 15 other specialized Hospitals for Cardiology, Kidney and Liver Transplant etc. But we know what are the priorities of the government.
