Charged for bribery: Three police officers suspended

KARACHI: Three police officers were suspended and reverted to their older ranks on Friday for releasing suspects after receiving bribes. SITE A-Section police station SHO Maqbool Ahmed and two sub-inspectors, Masood and Safdar, were suspended and demoted by SITE division SP Fida Hussain. The action against the police officers was taken after receiving complaints, SP Hussain told The Express Tribune.
