PM meets with IMF delegation

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani met with an IMF delegation in Islamabad.

The delegation held dialogue over the 5th loan installment of the IMF and the conditionalities attached to it. The Prime Minister told the delegation that the tax-base will be increased after talks with all provinces.

He assured the IMF delegation that the coming budget will be balanced. Gilani said IMF should take note of ground realities when considering Pakistan's economic situation.
