Bidding : OGRA holds hearing for LNG licence

The applications were meant for the grant of licences to undertake regulated activities related to LNG at Port Qasim

KARACHI: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) held a public hearing on Tuesday, on applications filed by the Elengy Terminal Pakistan Limited (ETPL). The applications were meant for the grant of licences to undertake regulated activities related to liquefied natural gas (LNG) at Port Qasim, and for the transmission of natural gas. The interveners present at the hearing, including Pakistan Gas Port Limited and Fauji Oil Terminal and Distribution Company Limited, provided their comments, which were answered by the ETPL. It was noted at the meeting that the Port Qasim Authority had initialed an implementation agreement, thereby showing that it has no objections to the terminal site.
