Here’s a list of Spring/Summer items that every man who takes his everyday look seriously must add to his wardrobe.

Spring in in the air, which means it’s time to load the winter wear back into the trunk and bring out the summer wardrobe. While winter is all about layering and volume, spring is about comfortable, athletic and preppy dressing that’s gentle on the body and soft on the eye. That is no excuse for roaming around in untidy t-shirts and slippers. There are plenty of ways you can look stylish without feeling the heat. Here’s a list of Spring/Summer items that every man who takes his everyday look seriously must add to his wardrobe for a stylish, appropriate, summer look.

Tasseled loafers:

Hot weather calls for something light and breezy that doesn’t turn your feet into a sweaty mess. This is where loafers come in. They are light, fuss free (no laces) and you can wear them without socks. Tasseled loafers were all over the Spring/Summer runways. You can check out The Leather Crafts collection on daraz.pk for an affordable pair of loafers. For a pricier version, check out Logo Shoes, Turk and Fillmore London on daraz.pk or Timberland. Whichever way you go, just put a little talcum powder on your feet and wear them without socks, this way they will not only look good and comfy, the powder will take care of perspiration.

White jeans:

Spring/Summer is all about a cool and mellow colour palette and white is as cool as it gets. White jeans are one item you need to get yourself right now. When it comes to pants, men tend to stick to the conventional denim jeans look, although recent times have seen an increasing trend in coloured chinos among men, white jeans are the next step forward. White jeans will go well with a sporty blazer and a pair of moccasins, but be sure to not let them get dusty. Stoneage’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection has perfectly fitted, and affordable white jeans, so get it while the stock lasts.

Denim jacket:

Denim has moved out of jeans territory and into the domain of shirts and jackets. Ditch your denim jeans in favour of a trucker denim jacket for Spring/Summer. It might be a bit coarse for the hot weather, but you can offset the heaviness by pairing it with a light cotton tee. If it’s still too hot, you can substitute the jacket with a denim button-down shirt. The best part is that denim is no longer limited to the traditional blue, and is now available in faded ocean green and fawn as well. You can find plenty of denim options at any well-stocked Stoneage store.

Button-down shirts:

The most dependable item in your Spring/Summer wardrobe is going to be the button-down shirt. You can wear it over shorts for a casual look, or pair it with a pair of pants and suede boots for a semi-formal look. You will find a wide variety of shirts to choose from in the market. I would suggest buffalo plaid, checks and gingham patterns. Play with prints and patterns, roll up your sleeves and you are good to go.

An edgy leather bag:

Putting the mindless ‘man bag’ debate aside, bags are cool, convenient and something that every man ought to sport. You can either go the backpack route or the hand carry way, as long as the bag doesn’t look like something a 12-year-old school boy, or a sales representative would carry. Men shy away from carrying a bag that doesn’t look boring, just because they are afraid of it resembling a ladies hand bag. Put aside your pre-conceived notions, let loose a bit and go for a bag with some personality and style. Charcoal and Stoneage have the most enviable collection of both backpacks and leather hand carries and you can check out All Inc.’s collection on daraz.pk for more options.

Seriously ?! A floral shirt and all those colors, that too, on a man only looks good in Hawaii or ... ! btw those broad funky rainbow check shirt will surely fit you in a mallu crowd :P checks are definitely in but I think you could have chosen a better picture. White jeans O-kay ! Denim jacket thumbs up, but those tasseled loafers need a lot of pairing up care.
