An official of the political administration said that the incident occurred inside the house of a tribesman identified as Alam Din. He said that the tribesman found the mortar shell - fired by unidentified militants from Afghanistan - in an open ground near his house.
The official added that the shell detonated when the tribesman took it inside his house.
In a separate incident, a blast in Kurram Agency outside the house of a political clerk left three people injured. Among the injured was the political clerk himself, a woman and a child.
In another incident, a blast took place on Sarki Road in Peshawar, injuring two people.

Felt sorry about irrational act.
How interestingly ET has linked the FATA bomb blasts to KPK in this news..news of a small blast in Peshawar which injured two people has been deliberately combined with the bigger news of 6 people killed in Waziristan FATA which comes under central government...
it was a cracker attack on Sarki Road in Peshawar not a blast
