Philanthropy: Malik Riaz promises treatment of three blind children

PESHAWAR:

Real estate tycoon and Bahria Town founder Malik Riaz Hussain will bear the expenses of the treatment of three blind siblings from Peshawar. Express News had aired a news report about the plight of the poor family.

The father of the blind children, Mohib Shah, is an electrician and the family lives in Jogan Shah area of the provincial capital.

Three out of his six children are blind. Shah told Express News that he tried everything that he could do for the treatment of Sameer Ali, Alishba and Talha and spent Rs100,000 on their treatment but needed more money to complete the treatment.

The eldest of the three, Sameer Ali, has completed his primary education despite his eyesight problem. He wants to study further and become a successful man, he said.
