Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, while condemning the attack on the Hindu temple in Larkana, said that Islam is a religion of peace, tranquillity, brotherhood and respect.
In a media statement issued on Sunday, the minister said that any conspiracy designed to create conflict between the Hindus and Muslims would be foiled.
The police have arrested the individual who conducted the attack on the temple in Larkana and he would be taken to task for his crime, Memon maintained.
He said the Sindh government was the custodian of places of worship of minorities and would compensate the loss and damage done to the temple. The temple would be reconstructed under Sindh government’s aegis, bearing all expenses.
Since Islam is a religion of peace and always preaches religious tolerance, there is no room for any misbehaviour in any form, the minister said.
Memon appealed to the people of Larkana to stay united and thwart any attempts to create confrontation, unrest or hostility.

I'm disgusted and ashamed as a Pakistani to see this kind mentality and feel sad and sorry to those poor innocent pakistani hindus who are the target for this evil foreign game.
aid that Islam is a religion of peace, tranquillity, brotherhood and respect. Right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When a temple is destroyed in Pakistan, its built again (probably bigger and better). When a Mosque is destroyed in India a temple is built which is also bigger and better. And they say we are the same people. lol!

News reports about attacks on Hindus in Pakistan are so common that they read like the mandatory weather reports. Pakistan, the "land of the pure", has absolutely no right to call itself a "tolerant and peace-loving" society (is it even a society?) when minorities are treated with such barbarism and savagery. From the nearly 15% Hindu population at the time of partition, this community is barely 2% of the population today. If Pakistan cannot guarantee the personal safety and religious freedom of its minorities, it has no right to talk about the treatment of minorities in other countries. Even international organizations such as Human Rights Watch, the UNCHR, Amnesty and others have condemned Pakistan for its inhuman treatment of its minorities. Fix your own house first before you point fingers at how others treat their minorities. And a country that does not treat its minorities well, ends as a country without a conscience and that, in turn, means a country without any moral, legal or political concept whatsoever. Considering that you hardly have any middle-class educated and secular people, who would normally build a nation, your country is best programmed for a stone-age cave society..
The Government of Sindh must taken stern action against those criminals involved in rampage, which has disturbed the peaceful atmosphere of Sindh, which is known for peaceful co-existence of all communities without any distinction of caste, color or creed. This is a deliberate attempt from the mischief mongers to create lawlessness in the province of Sindh, who has hitherto remained unaffected by religious bigotry, which has engulfed the whole country. In this situation, the role of social activists and nationalists is of utmost importance to isolate the religious fanaticism and promote peace and tranquility in the province of Sindh.
