QUETTA:

Re-elections for local bodies’ seats were held on Sunday in five districts of Balochistan – Loralai, Pishin, Killa Saifullah and Musa Khail.

Re-polling was held due to discrepancies in the results, the provincial election commission said.

“Elections were held peacefully. However, polling could not take place in Union Council Malik Yar Pishin due to error in symbols and law and order issue,” Election Commissioner Balochistan Sultan Bayzeed told The Express Tribune.

The result will reach Balochistan Election Commission on Monday as most of the areas are hundreds of kilometres from Quetta. “It will take time to get the official results,” officials said.

The election commission has set up 39 polling stations where 150 polling staff performed duties.

The commission will announce elections for reserved seats after March 20.

Election means to work for the nation or making money to hold the chair? Rich Baluchistan tribes didn't make any effort to make the country progress, no school, no hospital, no career building school, like farming, fishing etc. If Federal not funding enough , never show their own wealth to make ratio contribution for road, railway communication, on contrary playing only with destroying . If they contribute their wealth they know how to protect. Baluchistan is full of mineral and may be oil. Baluch are happy to see Gulf to grow , but not themselves. Rich Baluchi,s wealth are in Dubai and Musket to make gulf grow, on contrary Gulf is rich themselves all citizens are happy they are living there as second class citizen. Law is leave the Gulf and Leave everything. Baluchi one leg is in Gulf and one is in Pakistan. I don't know who enjoying the view. God bless Pakistan
