Beverage supply deal: PepsiCo partners Cinestar and IMAX

PepsiCo is market leader in Pakistan and has distinction of being one of largest PepsiCo market in the world.

KARACHI: PepsiCo has acquired exclusive rights for supplying beverages for the Cine Star Cinema across Pakistan. Jahanzeb Khan, Vice President and General Manager, Pakistan & Afghanistan Business Unit, PepsiCo International and Ali Chaudary Managing Director Cinestar SMC signed the exclusive beverage supply agreement, said a press release. PepsiCo is the market leader in Pakistan and has the distinction of being one of the largest PepsiCo market in the world. Cinestar Cinema has currently single largest screen in Pakistan and has also acquired exclusive rights for IMAX theaters across the country. Cinestar plans to open first IMAX Theater in Lahore in May 2014 and will soon be opening in Karachi and Islamabad. “Cinema Industry in Pakistan is rapidly increasing and PepsiCo International is pleased to partner with Cinestar and IMAX,” Romana Aziz Khan, Director Key Accounts and Capability, PepsiCo Pakistan said, the press release said.
