Wedding gone bad: Firecrackers leave six children injured

JAMRUD: Six children were injured when firecrackers brought for a wedding exploded in a house in Ghondai Jamrud, Khyber Agency, on Thursday. Ali Sher Khalil, an official of the political administration, said a wedding was being held at the house of Ghalib Khan Abdalkhel and a large number of guests, including children were present on the occasion. Around 4pm, firecrackers started exploding in the ceremony, injuring six children who were identified as Shahid, Asif, Salman, Uzma, Rani and Razzaq. They were taken to Jamrud Hospital where they were administered with first aid and discharged.
