Personal enmity: One killed, another injured in firing

KHAR: One person was killed while another was injured over a family dispute by armed men in Bajaur Agency’s Khar Bazaar on Thursday. According to Political Agent Haseeb Khan, Ayub and Masood were at Khar Bazaar when unidentified attackers started firing and critically injured both of them. The two were taken to a hospital nearby where Ayub succumbed to injuries. The hospital staff said that Masaood’s health was stable. Haseeb said both men were residents of Dir but had migrated to Mandal due to an enmity in their hometown. The official claimed the political administration had launched raids in the area to arrest the attackers but none were made till the filing of this report.
