Urban Development : PHA to build clock tower at Mozang

PHA Engineering Director Irfan Aslam said the tower would be completed in two months.

LAHORE: The Parks and Horticulture Authority will build a clock tower at Qurtaba Chowk next to the Metro Bus station and intersection of Jail Road.

Officials said the initial estimated cost of the project was Rs8.392 million but changes in the design pushed the cost to Rs 10 million.

PHA Engineering Director Irfan Aslam said the tower would be completed in two months. He said the chief minister had proposed the project and the tower was designed by PHA’s architects. He said the tower will have four display surfaces.
