Dasti had stunned fellow parliamentarians on February 27 when he had said that liquor worth millions of rupees was supplied in the parliament lodges and that a pungent smell of hashish engulfs the area.
“Girls are brought in the lodges and dance parties [take place],” Dasti had alleged, claiming that he has evidence in the form of video footage of mujras taking place in the lodges.
On March 4, a seven-member committee was constituted to look into the allegations. The members included Imran Zafar Leghari, Dr Arif Alvi, Khaja Sohail Mansoor, Shahida Akhtar Ali, Kazim Ali Shah, Mian Abdul Mannan and Sheikh Rohail Asghar.
There are 359 suites in the Parliament Lodges, 83 of which are reserved for members of the Senate, while the other 276 are for MNAs.

He is not an investigator and the process itself was wrong. It is responsibility of police or other investigation authority to investigate if a citizen is reporting a crime.
In this case it is quite possible that they evidence he brought was really not enough, and committee decided accordingly. Maybe this was planned all along, considering the fact that Mr. Dasti is nor a qualified investigator.
The same people who claim the Constitution is now supreme are the first ones to circumvent it at all times. They do not implement the Constitution because a. they do not understand it and b. they have interests that are at odd with the constitution and Islamic provisions.
Guess what will take priority? Their own interest; Islam can wait and the Constitution can be circumvented at will with no repercussions.
Did these allegations come as surprise to anyone? I would have been more surprised if these crooks had not done this. Did anyone really think that they will spend their ill gotten wealth in a moral way.
How can Parlimentarians punish other parlimentarians. Accountability at its best.
Jamshed Dasti should send these evidences to the news channel and be made public. and let the people at large should decide if the evidences are sufficient and acceptable. I am sure this is not going to violate any law and /or privacy. Every voter has the right to know about their representative's past and present state of affairs.
Mr Jhamshed Dasti keep up the good work and keep these members of Parliament in check.
hahaha ! lol @ our leader's shenanigans .. my Q ; is this an Islamic Republic ?
Evidence provided not enough : This sentence is enough for parliamentarians
He will never be able to bring reliable evidence as each will be declared insufficient. It is feudal society and these feuds are untouchable. So my friend for get it and let them enjoy the life.
They will never be enough because they effect us. LOL!
HAhhahaahahaahah. I knew this will happen.
Or... in the eyes of committee the allegations were not "immoral"
