KARACHI: Five members of the same family - related to notorious gangster Noor Mohammad alias Baba Ladla - were shot dead in Lyari, Express News reported early on Monday.

According to the police, they were allegedly kidnapped and shot dead by Ladla's rival group, led by Sheraz Comrade, in the Kalakot area of Lyari before being dumped in the Muwach Goth area of Baldia Town.

The deceased were identified as Ismail, Javed, Taj Muhammad, Shoaib and Faisal. The police said three of the deceased were boxers.

The victims were reportedly between 30 and 35 years of age. Their bodies were taken to the Civil Hospital.

Correction: Express News earlier reported that the deceased were members of the Baba Ladla group but those allegations have not been confirmed. This story has been revised to fix that error.

Once again, the arch rival of PPP's brain child Uzair Baloch continues to loose his gang mambers. Ladla is becoming weaker, while Uzair Baloch is becoming stronger. Clearly the side supported by govt is leading.
