Road accident: Two people killed, eight injured

Police & eyewitnesses claim family was travelling from Garhi Habibullah to Mansehra when driver lost control of wheel.

MANSEHRA: Two passengers, including a minor girl, were killed while eight others were injured when their car plunged into roadside ravine near Batrasi on Tuesday afternoon. Police and eyewitnesses claim a family was travelling from Garhi Habibullah to Mansehra in a car and when it reached Batrasi, the driver lost control of the wheel. A woman identified as Nasreen and her nine-year-old daughter Noori Bibi died on the spot while Ehjaz, Arif, Zahoor, Ambrin, Zahoor, Nazia Bibi Sohail and Khushal were injured. They were taken to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital where the condition of three was reported to be critical.
