MIRAMSHAH:
To protest against the kidnapping of one of their own, more than a hundred Christians gathered in front of Additional Headquarters Miranshah, North Waziristan and chanted slogans against the political administration for its failure to find Gulfam Masih.
On January 15, Gulfam went missing on his way to work.
As an employee of Miranshah Agency Headquarters Hospital, he was on his way to report for duty when unidentified men abducted him from Miranshah-Razmak vehicle stand in Zafar Town.
His whereabouts, according to Khalid Iqbal, the president of Miranshah’s Minority Welfare Society, remain unknown.
Iqbal said the hospital staff has been trying their best to find Gulfam but, so far, has been unsuccessful despite multiple appeals to the political administration.
Iqbal added if Gulfam is not found in the next three days, Christians will protest across the North Waziristan Agency.
