KARACHI: Police on Tuesday arrested a suspected target killer from Ibrahim Hyderi, an ancient fishing village in Karachi, Express News reported.
The suspect, named Roshan alias Bengali, has political links, the police say.
According to the Sukhan police station deputy superintendent, the suspect has confessed to five instances of target killing and about 20 robberies.
The suspect is allegedly involved in the February 3, 2014, attack on a police van in which four policemen were killed, the DSP said.
The suspect belonged to a gang of 15, which was involved in many cases of extortion, robbery and target killing.
A 9-mm pistol was also recovered from the suspect.
