Over one dozen suspects, including alleged target killers and gangsters, were arrested during targeted raids on Sunday.
Two alleged target killers, Shahid and Ahsan, were arrested along with weapons during a raid by the Rangers in Korangi.
Two more suspects associated with a political party and alleged target killers were arrested during a police raid in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The suspects were identified as Junaid and Adnan.
An alleged Lyari gangster Akbar alias City was arrested during an alleged encounter with the police and Rangers in Lyari. Five suspects, including three gangsters, were arrested during a police operation in SITE. The police said that three gangsters and two drug peddlers were among the detainees, who were shifted to undisclosed location for further questioning.
