An attacker was killed and another was injured after they shot and injured two men in a hujra in Musazai Mohallah.
According to the police, the nephew of Imambargah Kulachi’s mutawalli (caretaker), Syed Amir Haider Shah, and his friend Asgher Ali Gandapur were sleeping in Shah’s hujra around noon when three men barged in and opened fire, injuring them both.
During the incident, one of the attackers was killed and another was injured. The rest of the attackers picked up the body of the deceased and managed to escape. Authorities identified him as Aslam, a resident of Bura Khel village of the tehsil and a member of a banned organisation.
Meanwhile, Shah was hit on his shoulder and was taken to Kulachi Hospital where he is now out of danger. The police registered Shah’s complaint; he claims he has no rivalry with anyone.
