HYDERABAD: The Crime Investigation Agency police arrested the alleged killer of a policeman on Thursday. The suspect has been nominated in over half a dozen other FIRs. Mumtaz Ali alias Aashiq, is one of the 25 suspects nominated in the murder FIR of SHO Imam Bux Korai. Aashiq was arrested during a police raid in Mula Dino Mallah village within the limits of Rahuki police station. Korai was shot dead during a police encounter in Khairpur district in September 2009. An automatic rifle and bullets were recovered from Aashiq, according to CIA DSP Muhammad Aslam Langha. Last year, another suspect in the Rahno Shaikh case was arrested by the Karachi CIA from Shershah.
