During the National Assembly session on Thursday, MNA Dasti said that the lodges are often frequented by female dancers, and the lodges reek of hashish. He alleged that liquor worth 40-50 million rupees annually is supplied to the lodges of the parliamentarians.
When Dasti made these claims, acting chairperson Naeema Kishwar turned off his microphone and asked him to discuss the matter in the chambers, not in the assembly hall. She asked MNA Dasti to present proof to his claims, to which he said that a medical test should be conducted on all parliamentarians to find traces of drugs in their systems.
The NA speaker Ayaz Sadiq said that the lodges are equipped with working CCTV cameras and footage for the last month is available. He added that if Dasti’s claims are correct, the parliamentarians will be questioned and be held accountable.
However, if Dasti’s claims are wrong, the parliament will decide his fate.

Because the parliament is supposed to be a protected spot. We have a similar kind of scandal in Germany where a legislator is accused of ordering children nude photos by using his lap top from the Parliament building.

Dasti does not need any attention. Remember he was caught in a fake degree scandal. He run the election and came back again. That means he is popular in his constituency so no need for attention. People need attention to become popular to seek votes.

I second to that. If the parliamentarians are so clean then they do not have to worry about it. Mandatory testing for drugs for MNA's anybody refuses then he/she is out of the parliament. First charge on article 62 and 63 then dismissed.

Accountability!!! Is it a joke! In Pakistan particularly and the whole Universe in general, there is no power other than Allah that can hold us accountable. It is unfortunate that we can't hold ourselves accountable. But surely, we must fear Allah's accountability here and in the World hereafter!

An impartial inquiry be held to verify the allegations levelled against the parliamentarians by Mr Dasti. If proved these politicians alongwith their family must be banned for life time for participating in elections beside other legal punishment. Such leaders can't be representatives of innocent and gentle public.
Election commission should take notice of these allegations if found true these members certainly donot fall in thee cat of sadiq and amin
He is my hero MP. Blunt, straight forward, down to earth. What else other corrupt MPs can't do.
Whatever Mr.Dasti said it must be inquired. The culprit(s) must be held accountable. But i am not sure either the matter will be addressed being a serious issue because if the charges become true, the law makers will be punished according to law?
Dasti has exposed the internal story. That's why the parliamentarians are mostly noticed dosing during the sessions dreaming the recaps of the lodges.......... !!!!!!
Actually, they bring their daugthers, because elected MNAs are father of whole nation.
These facts clearly invoke articles 62 & 63 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any legal mind around? Justice Iftikhar Ch would have definitely taken suo motu on this.
We need to look what their contract and TORs - maybe its part of their government employee package.

I wouldn't like to be in his shoes standing in Parliament and hurling those accusations unless I had a hard core un refutable beyond doubt evidence up my sleeve.
We're forgetting about the little incident on motorway, are we Mr. Dasti? Any comments on that?
