Meeting held: Road repairs to take place in Sanghar

The decision was taken at a meeting in Sanghar.

HYDERABAD: The United Energy Pakistan Limited, Oil and Gas Development Authority and Pakistan Petroleum Limited have been asked to build and repair 35-kilometre-long roads in Sanghar district. Additionally, they will also have to ensure provision of gas to the villages located within five square kilometres of their installations. The decision was taken at a meeting in Sanghar on Wednesday. Deputy Commissioner Sikandar Ali Khushk and the petroleum ministry official Mian Javed, among others, attended the meeting. Khushk asked the three companies to contribute to the social welfare funds and also to submit the details of their employees to show how many of the local people have been employed by them.
