Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Minister for Information Shah Farman has said the process of peace talks should continue, adding the use of power has never solved problems. While meeting with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Peace Talks Committee Coordinator Maulana Syed Muhammad Yousaf Shah in Peshawar on Tuesday, Farman said Pakistan is passing through a difficult time. The minister emphasised the need for continuing the negotiation process between the government and the TTP for the restoration of peace. Farman also demanded both sides to declare an immediate ceasefire.“The people of K-P have suffered great losses due to terrorism and militancy,” added the minister. On the occasion, Farman and Yousaf agreed to hold a peace conference in the first week of March for supporting negotiations.
