A meeting of the recently-formed coalition of PPP, ANP and JUI-F was held at PPP leader Iftikhar Khan Jhagra’s house on Friday. The parties decided to form committees in five districts of the province in light of the upcoming local government (LG) polls. The coalition president ANP’s Mian Iftikhar Hussain said the aim of the alliance is to reach the grassroots so workers of all three parties can address misunderstandings at the local level and put up a joint front for the LG polls. Five members each from all three parties were selected for the LG committees of Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan and Swabi.
