Strengthening ties: Minister for tourism in Agra
K-P govt to provide full security to Indian tourists whenever they wish to visit the province, says minister.
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) is blessed with scenic natural beauty that attracts tourists from across the globe, said Minister for Tourism Mehmood Khan while talking to the media after visiting the historic Taj Mahal in Agra, India on Thursday. The minister expressed hope that tourists would once again throng to the northern parts of K-P once the security situation had normalised. He termed Swat Valley as the paradise of the east, emphasising that strengthening Pak-India ties was crucial for maintaining peace in the region. Khan added that the K-P government would provide full security to Indian tourists whenever they wished to visit the province. He added that people of both countries were eager to visit and that he would not forget the hospitality shown by the tourist department of Delhi during his trip to the Taj Mahal.
