The couple, both married to other people, were believed to be in their 30s, said Sarfaraz Bugti, the interior minister Balochistan.

"It is a shameful act and the people involved in stoning the man and the woman will be brought to justice," said Bugti.
The woman's body would be exhumed for forensic examination on Tuesday, Bugti said. Authorities were still searching for the man's grave, he said.
Bugti said he ordered the local police chief in the couple's home village of Loralai to be dismissed for not taking action when the killings occurred.
Women's rights group The Aurat Foundation says it tracks around 1,000 cases of honor killings per year just from media reports. The true figure is probably much higher.
No one tracks the number of attempted or successful prosecutions.

Stoning is the Islamic punishment for adultery. I wonder if 4 pious Muslims witnessed the penetration during the actual intercourse.
Lowest degree of humanity
So long as stupids keep shouting for sharia, incidences like these will keep on increasing. Pakistan's government, army, political parties and religious parties does not know how to handle issues of religion. Many are not clear even today if Pakistan was created for Islam or for muslims. Whatever it is, Pakistan is being destroyed and dragged to stone age by islam as practiced by the muslims of Pakistan themselves. And, what does the government do? They go to the mullas to get a ruling that the Constitution is according to islamic laws. Do you really need the mullas to give a judgment on this? Pakistan is trying to cure religious extremism by more religion and not be and rationale or reasoning.
If even today, the saner section just keep quiet and not come out to the streets to throw away all political and religious parties that are responsible, they can only see a bleak future. I am sure if the people come out on the streets in the same numbers they came out to demand hijab rights, things will improve and army will support.
