RAWALPINDI: The district administration assured that those affected by the metro bus project would be fairly compensated. Rawalpindi Commissioner Captain (retd) Zahid Saeed assured the traders of minimum possible damage to businesses during the construction work. He was addressing the business community at Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the first week of March, “Affected people will be awarded compensation according to the market value and the chamber will be consulted in this regard to avert any injustice,” said the commissioner.
