Pirated books: FIA raids Jinnah Books

Case under relevant provisions of Copyright Act has been registered and 1 suspect has been arrested.

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency Central Banking Circle Lahore team, headed by Additional Director Babar Sheharyar, conducted a raid on Jinnah Books situated near the Fatima Jinnah Medical College on Queens Road on Saturday. They had received a complaint from Javaid Iqbal of Roving Sources and seized a large number of pirated medical books. A case under relevant provisions of the Copyright Act has been registered. One suspect, Awais Arshad, has been arrested.
