He was received by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the airport.
The Crown Prince had been invited to Pakistan by Nawaz himself.
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, also serves as the deputy prime minister and minister for defence of the kingdom.
Among other senior dignitaries, the Minister for Defence, the Minister for Finance, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs and the Chief of Army Staff would be calling on the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
A spokesperson from the Foreign Office said that the Crown Prince will hold talks with the President and the prime minister on Thursday.
Agenda of the talks
The talks aim to strengthen cooperation in diverse areas of mutual interest particularly in expanding and enhancing investments and trade. In this context, the accompanying Saudi businessmen will meet their Pakistani counterpart.
They are also expected to discuss ways to increase export of Pakistan's labour force to Saudi Arabia and facilitate over 1.5 million Pakistanis currently residing in the Kingdom.
The Afghan issue is also expected to figure during the talks.

If Saudi Arabia is helping poor and mazloom Syrian people against the atrocities and opperession of Asad govt, then it is welcoming. Asad govt has killed about one hundred thousand freedom fighters and strugglers in Syria. Every sect of our society whether sunni, shia or non-muslim should condemn Asad govt for such killings of innocents.
@Rex Minor: Ok they are consumers, atleast not the one who takes that into that country. If there law says that they will behead the person who bring drugs thn why we are carrying it? Infact beheading a person is not only there in K.S.A but also in many other countries, Emirates,Oman and Iran all treat us that way...its not there fault, It's we who are faulty.

Saudi Arabia desperately needs 20,000 - 30,000 troops/freedom fighters to go Syria and fight against Assad and Iran proxy's. Pakistan desperately needs free oil and couple of Billions as its Forex is close to zero. Similar to Zia ul haq who went to fight Palestinians for King of Jordan, Nawaz and COAS will gladly send Pakistani troops to Syria.

The House of Saud is blessed by the almighty God, for looking after and caring for the places of worship for the billion plus muslim believers, who visit the holy land and pay homage to the glory of God, the creator of the Universe. The Saudi family in addition is also responsible for managing the country's oil business which provides energy to the industrial world which will stop functioning in days if the supply of oil is interrupted. Regardless of their domestic and foreign policies, all members of the House of Saud are muslims and very much religious and are personaly committed to help the Ummah. It is upto the political leadership of Pakistani citizens, to ask unashamedly the Saudi Government to improve the conditions for the Pakistani workers in their land!
One must just ask and not lament or complain when the opportunity is there!

....they should also stop their active support for Jihadi and militant Salafi groups in Pakistan, which has turned Pakistan into a nightmare for Pakistanis since the 80s. Stop abusing Pakistan in exchange for cheap manual labour. In addition to labour, they should also give preferential investment/professional opportunity to Pakistanis without local partners if they are really serious.

If there is no demand for drugs in SA nobody would bring it there. Everybody knows few Pakistanis smoke marijuana. These punishments are for Muslim brothers of Pakistan and their funded TTP have been following their traditions by beheading our soldiers and civilians with impunity. Saudis want Pakistan to surrender territory to the Taliban. They want Pakistan to help them in Yemen and Syria. The rise of Iran and the entry of Russia has got them sweating. Pakistan should demand that Saudis give equal rights to Pakistani workers and stop funding terrorism in Pakistan or else break off all ties with the profligate Saudis. Their time is coming to an end.
@Motiwala: Whether you like it or not, Nawaz Sharif has been improving Pakistan after so many years of lacklustre performance under Zardari and Musharraf. Not only are foreign heads of state coming to the nation but they are investing in the country. If you think that's begging, you shold think again because it seems you are threatened by the jobs and improving economy.
Would the beheading of poor Pakistanis in SA ever stop? Why Europeans and other superior races and countries are not subjected to this kind of punishment?

At least Saudis execute them through court. A "brotherly" neighbor kills them (the smugglers) in the border region without even verifying facts, dumps the bodies and leaves our security agencies to deal with the mess and suppress further secession calls.
