Public health: Jobs of 434 employees regularized
Health department requests chief minister to regularise employees against vacant positions.
KARACHI:
The Sindh government has regularised the jobs of 434 employees, including doctors of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme (BBSYDP), The Express Tribune has learnt. Sources said that the Sindh health department sent the summary of the employees of the programme to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, recommending the regularisation of employees of 30 training institutes. The notification in this regard will be issued this week. “Yes, the summary has been approved,” an official of the programme confirmed, adding that the Sindh Assembly had already passed the bill for regularising the employees in March 2013 on the request of the health department. According to him, the health department requested the chief minister to regularise the employees against vacant positions.
