Imran Khan vows to make Pakistan a 'welfare state'

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Sunday said his party would make Pakistan a welfare state if it comes into power.

Talking to a public gathering in a village near Lahore, he said his party will revolutionise the judicial process if it comes into power.

Imran Khan said inflation has skyrocketed and the masses will not put up with it any longer as the present government has ‘broken all records of corruption.’ He said people's trust in his party was such that his party was able to raise more funds for flood relief as compared to anybody else.

He also vowed that change was imminent, and nobody could stop it.

But they forget that IMRAN KHAN is the leader who has all the skills we needed in our leader. He is the hope to give a stronger Pakistan for our generations in the near future......
User | 14 years ago | Reply @ Anonymous, I hope you understand that in Rome everyone is expected to live in Rome as the Romans do. Those people who are honest and wise also mostly stay at home and rarely mix up with people because the majority is wiser, smarter and knows the art of living in a "Civilized Society." What does a civilized society reflect? Why the religious parties do not succeed in elections because ou majority personally belives in and practices(!) Islam but does not categorically want to see our country Islamized(!). We are honest(!) but we do compromise(!) with dishonesty for the sake of our very survival(!). We dislike (!) corruption but we do not find any way to do business without(!) indulging in corrupt practices. We preach(!) what we do not practice(!). WE ARE IN MAJORITY. People like you and IK are in MINORITY and will remain in MINORITY. Do you see any politician of political stature with or around IK? Why? They are not around because they need majority votes to get elected for which Honesty, Integrity, Dedication, Loyalty, Sincerety and Patriotism are needed. AND we as a nation either do not consider these qualities in a politician to vote for him or stay at home on the day of voting. HOW CAN YOU AND OTHER PEOPLE EXPECT IMRAN KHAN TO GET ELECTED, ACQUIRE MAJORITY AND BECOME A PRIME MINISTER?
