Here’s the lowdown on what to do in the upcoming week. The Express Tribune tells you where to go to have some family fun, shop till you drop and much more.



1. Fashion Supports Conservation, which is a branch of the Sindh Festival, is having a huge Trunk Sale at the Mohatta Palace on Sunday, February 9, 2014 between 11am and 6pm. The purpose of the event is to generate sufficient funds to assist in the conservation of Mohenjo-Daro. You will have the opportunity to purchase designer clothes, furniture, paintings, fine jewellery, accessories and a lot more at rock bottom prices. Entrance fee is Rs500.



2. PEF Charity Carnival & Bazaar is a fun-filled event, which will take place at the Beach Luxury Hotel on February 16. The attractions of the day include fireworks, rung, musical performances, boat rides, waterside café, desi food-street and many games and activities for kids and adults. All proceeds from the event will go to the Professional Education Foundation for funding education of students in colleges and universities across Pakistan. Tickets are available at Agha’s, Espresso, Avari Towers and at the gate of the carnival for Rs300. Entrance is free for children under the age of five.



3. Cross Stitch Winter Sale started on February 7 at the brand’s Lahore and Islamabad outlets. There is up to 30% off on winter ready-to-wear clothes and loose fabric. Melange multi-label boutique in Islamabad is also offering up to 30% off on all designers in store. Sale started on February 3 and will go on till February 14. Ladies, you can also head to Khaadi and Ego, both of which are currently on sale, with up to 50% off on selected items.



4. You can also head over to Forum Mall in Karachi for their Valentine’s Week! Pick up a gift for your loved ones this week, with added discounts and gifts for all.



5. Finally, action-packed Bollywood film Gunday will be releasing on February 14. Gunday stars Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra, an on-screen couple we’re looking forward to see. Set in Kolkata, this action-drama would be an exhilarating option for a night out. If you’re a fan, go check it out. We hear it’s definitely worth a watch!
