As part of a youth exchange programme between Japan and SAARC countries, a delegation of 11 Pakistani university students will undertake a one-week visit of Japan from February 9 to February 18, said a press release.
The students, who were chosen by their respective universities in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, will visit Japan under “JENESYS 2.0” (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths).
Twelve university students from Karachi and Quetta are also visiting Japan under the same programme.
Participants will get opportunities to learn about Japan’s technology and its support for creative industries, along with cultural exchanges.
Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Inomata handed over travel documents to the selected students at an orientation ceremony on Thursday.
