Crime: Policeman shot dead by robbers

In district Dadu, injured policemen were shifted to Civil Hospital.

KARACHI: A policeman was gunned down and another suffered bullet wounds when robbers opened fire on them in Syedabad Muhalla in district Dadu on Tuesday. The two policemen, Younus Shahani and Azeem Solangi, were patrolling the area, when they saw the robbers. The policemen asked them to stop but the robbers opened fire at them and fled. Both the injured policemen were shifted to Civil Hospital, Dadu, where Shahani succumbed to his injuries, while Solangi survived.
