Six police officers injured in PM's convoy accident

Two cars from Nawaz Sharif's convoy collided with each other after a tyre burst.

LAHORE: Two cars in Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s convoy collided, thereby injuring six police officers, Express News reported on Monday.

The collision occurred as the PM was leaving Alhamra Hall, Lahore, where he had been meeting senior journalists.

According to initial details, a tyre of a car that jams bombs burst resulting in the car toppling over.

After this, an Elite Force vehicle collided with it and toppled over as well.

The injured were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.

@Multani: Oh Ya! Try going over a deep pot hole, a sharp rock or metal part or the edge of the foot path first breaking & Bending the Steel Wire Mesh Belts inside then go over the same sharp object again with over-inflated tyre or extra heavy load that could easily transfer over that corner on sharp turn. Note: Next time you see a bubble or bump on a tyre, I bet the steel wire mesh or belt "that you call it" is broken already and now only the rubber is holding the pressure and can burst over a bump any time. Watch specially on hill climbing too.
