Seminar: Child development discussed
Seminar provides platform for parents and child experts to discuss social and emotional development for children.
LAHORE:
Gymboree Play & Music, in collaboration with Hameed Latif Hospital, hosted Gymboree Talks, a parenting seminar, at the Gymboree Gulberg Centre on Sunday. The seminar was hosted by Vaneeza Ali. The participants discussed children’s “developmental milestones” [the theme for the session]. Pediatrician Dr Sajjad Rafique and Shabana Majid, a speech and language therapist from Hameed Latif Hospital, told parents how to identify developmental milestones and signs of possible delays. The seminar provided a platform for parents and child experts to discuss children’s social and emotional development. Experts spoke on how parents could chalk out strategies to support this development. Gymboree Play & Music has been fostering creativity and confidence in toddlers for over 37 years.
