Volunteers: Anti-dengue registration drive begins

Awareness lectures designed for churches in Sahiwal district monitored by Social Welfare Department.

MULTAN: Several awareness lectures were held at various churches in the Sahiwal district on Sunday under the district government’s anti-dengue awareness and volunteer registration campaign that began on Sunday.  The campaign has been especially designed for churches in the district. The campaign is being held and monitored by the Social Welfare Department. District Officer Syed Alamdar Hussain Shah said the government hoped to register at least 20,000 volunteers for the campaign.
