ISLAMABAD: Welcoming the latest offer from the Indian external affairs minister to resolve the Kashmir issue, AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed asked the international community to assist in the resolution of the long-standing issue. The PM was addressing participants of an international workshop on Kashmir at the National Defense University on Wednesday. While meeting a Pakistani delegation, Indian external affairs minister Salman Khurshid expressed readiness to resolve issues with Pakistan, including the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. Majeed agreed that the issue of Kashmir was not a territorial one but instead a ‘question of human destiny’ and added that the international community should assess its promises made over decades to people of the disputed state.
